If it’s Italian, we Americans immediately associate romance and beauty. Truly the monks of the middle ages created a delicious concoction of almonds and oranges when they dreamt up Amaretto liquor. Can’t you imagine them mixing and tippling on a little bit of this or that in some cavern surrounded by vats? Fortunately the work has been done for you and now all you have to do is brew and sip blissfully.
Into a 12 oz mug, add the following:
- 4 oz. brewed Teeccino Almond Amaretto
- 1/2 oz cinnamon syrup or vanilla extract
- 1 wedge of fresh orange
- 6 oz hot milk frothed
- Optional: 1/2 oz of Amaretto or Grand Marnier liquor
Add the cinnamon syrup or vanilla extract and the liquor of your choice to brewed Teeccino. Squeeze the juice of the orange wedge into Teeccino. Stir and add foaming milk or soymilk. Dust with cinnamon powder

So many people have asked me to create a Teeccino Chai. I am a great fan of spices because they are true stimulants that wake up your digestive system and increase your metabolism with their thermogenic properties. They warm you on cold days, help ward off colds and sore throats, and even help stabilize your blood sugar. Compare this to the stimulation you get from caffeine that puts you in a state of stress, creates havoc with your blood sugar, weakens your adrenals, lowers your immune system and deprives you of absorbing your nutrients. You can see why I’m so enthusiastic! This is a version of the eighth flavor of Teeccino that one day will come to a store (or website) near you!
Put 2 rounded tablespoons of Teeccino Vanilla Nut into a filter.
- Sprinkle evenly 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder over the Teeccino grounds
- Sprinkle evenly 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder over the cinnamon
- Add 4 oz frothed hot milk or soymilk.
- Sweeten with Stevia or maple syrup
Brew using 4 cups of water in a drip coffee maker or 2 cups (16 oz) of water in a French Press or cone filter. Add the frothed milk or soymilk. Sprinkle Cinnamon powder over the foaming milk. Makes 2 servings

Frangelico Hazelnut Creme
|
|
The other night I gave a dinner party and enrolled my friends in taste testing an assortment of liquors in Teeccino to see which ones were our favorites. Although we loved them all, Frangelico stood out above the rest. Why? It adds a yumminess that is outstanding. It’s so smooth, you don’t know any alcohol is there. And let’s face it. Hazelnut is all about richness and that is exactly what you are searching for when desiring a dessert.
Into a 12 oz mug, add the following:- 6 oz brewed Teeccino Hazelnut
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup or Stevia to taste
- 1 oz Frangelico liquor
Top with your choice of the following:- A scoop of ice cream
- 4 oz frothed hot milk or soymilk
- Whipped cream flavored with maple syrup and vanilla extract

I have a favorite after-ski drink when you come in half frozen and your nose is bright red; hot cocoa with crème de menthe. Now, I’ve translated it into a Teeccino base without all the extra sugar in cocoa, but still with rich chocolate flavor and a spike of menthol that drives the blood to your extremities. If you want even more chocolate flavor, try the crème de cacao as well. And if the drink is intended for someone who doesn’t drink alcohol, Chocolate Mint will give you the same effect!
Into a blender, add the following:- 6 oz brewed Teeccino Mocha or Chocolate Mint
- 1-2 teaspoons honey or Stevia to taste
- 1 teaspoon cocoa powder or chocolate syrup
- 4 oz hot milk or soymilk
- Optional: 1 oz crème de menthe or 1 oz dark crème de cacao
Blend until frothy. Pour into mug and top with whipped cream if desired. Dust with cocoa powder.

A chef in Florida gave us his inspiration for this Italian classic recipe a la Teeccino. I learned that Tiramisu means “Pick me up”. I have to admit, this isn’t exactly your low-fat special, but think of it this way; it will give you an energy boost from the potassium and the high protein content from both the eggs and mascarpone cheese will help balance your blood sugar. It is fun and easy to make because those ladyfingers make it quick to assemble. I’m planning on serving it on Christmas Eve. Hope you enjoy it too!
- 4 (3 oz.) pkg. dry ladyfingers
- 1 c. brewed Teeccino Mocha flavor, espresso strength, cooled
- 2 tbsp. brandy
- 6 eggs, separated
- 6 tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tablespoon powdered cinnamon
- 2 1/2 lbs. mascarpone cheese
Note: if you don't have an expresso maker, stovetop espresso maker or press pot, brew Teeccino in your drip coffee maker using 2 tablespoons for 2 cups water.
Topping Option #1: Mix together in a bowl
- 3/4 brown sugar
- 2 tbs dry Mocha Teeccino, finely ground in a coffee grounder
- 1/4 tsp cinammon
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
Topping Option #2: Melt over a low heat
- 1 cup milk chocolate morsels
- 1/4 cup brewed Teeccino espresso strength
- 1/4 tsp. rum
In a measuring cup, combine Teeccino and brandy. In a medium bowl, beat yolks and sugar with electric mixer until thick and lemon colored. Add mascarpone and cinnamon and blend until smooth. In a large bowl, beat egg whites with electric mixer until soft peaks form (2 to 3 minutes). Using a rubber spatula, fold egg whites into mascarpone mixture.
Line the bottom of a greased 9” x13” Pyrex baking pan with 1/3 of the ladyfingers. Soak ladyfingers with 1/2 Teeccino mixture. Spread half the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers. Add another layer of ladyfingers and pour remaining Teeccino mixture over the top. Spread the rest of the mascarpone over them and finish with a layer of dry ladyfingers. Choose one of the toppings and spread it over the crisp ladyfingers. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 2 hours.
Makes 12 Servings

When I want a cup of Teeccino brewed the way I originally designed it – as a cappuccino – I use a stovetop espresso maker or Moka pot as the Italians call it. It produces a deep extraction of Teeccino that simply can’t be achieved by the drip method. I prefer it to home espresso machines because I can make 2 cups at one time. There is nothing like foamed milk on top of Teeccino even if you brew it in a drip coffeemaker or French Press. The Cappuccino Creamer allows you to heat up enough milk to top several mugs of Teeccino with velvet foam that melts in your mouth. I’m compelled to strongly suggest to my Teeccino fans, "Invest in both these brewing tools and you will have the ultimate Teeccino experience!"
